Our Rapid Response Team hotline receives and responds to referrals of homeless veterans 24/7/365. We receive calls from veterans directly or the agencies who support them. Your donation will be used to provide temporary housing for veterans until long term housing is available. The average cost of one night of housing is $150. All of our team members are volunteers, so your donation only pays for rescue housing. Last year, the OCO Rapid Response Team rescued an average of two veterans per day. Hotel stay is typically 2 – 3 nights per rescue.
