BACKPACK DRIVE
We will deliver backpacks December 18 – 21 this year. Our stops will include Dover, Newton, Morristown, Paterson, Passaic, Hackensack and Newark, NJ. Donate a backpack or duffle bag filled with warm clothing, toiletries and survival gear for a homeless man, woman or child this winter.
Be a Guardian Angel – Sponsor a Location
The homeless people we serve have individual needs and each outreach location is different. Some need outdoor survival gear. Others need new work clothes for their jobs. Individuals and business organizations can sponsor a specific outreach location, city or population. This year we will serve single moms with kids, families in temporary shelter care, GI’s and military veterans, migrant laborers and foreclosed families.
Provide Legal, Medical or Mental Health Services.
If you are a practicing or retired attorney, physician, nurse practitioner, EMT, or mental health counselor we need your help. We seek to link homeless veterans, families and individuals to legal and healthcare services.
Become a Partner
Your church or business can be certified as an official unit of OPERATION CHILLOUT and collect and deliver survival gear to homeless men and women in your area.
Donate
Your dollars help us meet the needs of homeless people in shelters, at soup kitchens and on the street. Any amount you can afford helps.
Endowments
You can endow our efforts on an on-going monthly basis and target a specific population you would like to support.
Matching Grants
Your matching dollars multiply the amount we receive in small donations and enable us to serve more individuals and families at risk.
